Today’s blog post is all about crafts!!!!
Today I want to talk about something I feel like I'm passionate about

I was never really into arts or artistically talented growing up, and I'm no professional now. But since 2020 I have definitely found my creative spark.

In 2020 I was dealing with some mental health issues and because of the lockdown things got worse, I went sick from my job and took some time off before going back. During this time off I had managed to start collecting a large number of craft things in my room and my room was getting cluttered. I needed a space to be creative, and let my mind be free and at peace. to be able to make things, sell things, and just express myself through arts and crafts.

On 4th September 2020 with the help of my dad, I had a new shed arrive! It was perfect (still is) this is when I named it “The Creation station” it’s a place where all my craft stuff live and belong. If you're wondering what things I have.. Well, I have anything and everything!! Paints, needle felting, lino printing, clay makes, all my frames for when I make my scrabble frames! And so much more.

By far my favourite thing to make is my scrabble frames! I used to sell them but now not so much, just because I don’t have much time. But I do miss having orders and making special gifts for special people.

Arts and crafts have also helped me a lot with my mental health because I can take myself off on a bad day and use my brain and be creative. I always put my heart and soul into what I make, even if it's something photography related to! I take time to put my images in frames and give them as unique gifts to people.

I have a small business it's not big and it's not popular yet, I call it Emilys Crafts Creations. I make what I call “scrabble frames I get the letter tiles from the craft shop and get the frames and then personalize each frame to order, ill include some images, but each and everyone is different. My business is mostly on my Facebook page (with the same name) either that or Etsy ( like eBay for all things crafts and homemade).

If you take anything away from my blog today then please know that you don’t have to be professional to have fun and be creative! Start somewhere! Anywhere you like and have fun and be messy and see what happens. I love crafting and being creative, and I wanted to share that with you all here!! I hope this inspires you all to be a little more creative in life and experiment with fun things that also bring you joy.

I hope you have all enjoyed todays blog,

Until next time

From Emily
